Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader to join our team at Stanbridge House in Oxfordshire. The role involves leading care staff, coordinating shifts, and delivering personalised support to residents in their own homes and in the complex.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, supervise care workers, assist with medication and personal care tasks, and participate in the on-call rota to ensure cover during emergencies. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leader experience preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to Care Workers.
• Schedule and allocate work to Care Workers while ensuring personal care tasks are client-specific.
• Assist with medication and personal care tasks.
• Support residents in the community and complex settings.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover when needed.
