Care Team Leader

Location: Beach Lawns Residential and Nursing Home, 67 Beach Road, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset

Hours: 33 hours per week

Role Overview

As a Care Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day needs of our residents, demonstrating compassion, care, and commitment to positively impacting their lives. You will work alongside a team of dedicated individuals, ensuring residents are comfortable and supported, and also assist in the development of Care Assistants.

  • Work as a team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues, fostering a positive environment
  • Provide high-quality, personalized care in line with individual care plans
  • Engage residents in leisure and social activities
  • Be kind, supportive, and respectful to residents, families, and colleagues
Required Skills and Experience
  • Teamwork skills to foster a happy and effective team
  • Experience in care is essential; NVQ3 in Social Care is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach
  • A genuine care for older people, with a focus on dignity and respect
