Job summary

Lifeways in Poole is seeking a passionate Care Team Leader to supervise and support a dedicated care team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to shape day-to-day care for residents with learning difficulties and mobility needs.

You’ll lead, mentor, and recruit, ensuring outstanding person-centred care while developing your career within a company that invests in you and rewards commitment with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (you’ll be driving our company cars).
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience as Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker preferred, with drive to progress.

• Support recruitment and development through interviews, supervisions, and mentoring.
• Communicate confidently with staff, the people we support, and external professionals.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally, experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care
• Or, a committed Care Assistant/Carer with a strong track record and the drive to step up—we’ll support your growth every step of the way
