Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking an experienced care leader to help run the home, ensuring safe, compliant operations and a positive culture for residents and staff. You will lead a care team, mentor colleagues and oversee delivery of person-centred care within approved care plans.

The role requires an NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, prior senior care experience, and a calm, decisive leadership style aimed at high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Has previous experience in a senior care or leadership role.

• Leads by example and enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Is committed to maintaining high standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the home outside office hours or in the absence of the General Manager and/or Care Manager, ensuring safe and effective operation.
• Lead, coach and support the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Provide high-quality personal care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are fully understood and met.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing individual care plans.
• Undertake Move-In Assessments as delegated and contribute to decisions regarding admissions.
• Safely order, administer and record medication in line with company procedures and legislation.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ensure colleagues do the same.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant health and social care legislation.
• Complete quality audits, supervisions and appraisals as delegated by the management team.
• Support the delivery of hands-on care whenever required.
• Participate in the home's emergency on-call rota.

Working Pattern

This role operates on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off.

Shift Options

Full Time Days 8:00am - 8:00pm Average 42 hours per week

Pay Rates

£18.22 per hour
