Job summary

Salveo Care in Wendover is seeking a Team Leader for night shifts at Cherry Tree House to create a safe, welcoming environment where residents receive excellent care and your team feels supported. You will lead by example on shift, coordinate nights, oversee medication administration, mentor the care team, review care plans and documentation, and drive audits to maintain high standards.

As we prepare to open Wendover Manor later this year, this role offers clear progression, ongoing training,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 and/or relevant experience in medication administration, care planning and the delivery of care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating shifts.
• Administering and overseeing medication safely.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing the care team.
• Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and daily documentation.
• Completing audits and quality checks to maintain excellent standards.
• Liaising with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

About the role

As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming and positive environment where residents receive exceptional care and your team feel supported.

You'll lead by example on shift, ensuring high standards are maintained while supporting the day-to-day running of the home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating shifts.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who leads with kindness, integrity and confidence.

You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional care, naturally encourage those around you, and understand that the smallest details can make the biggest difference to a resident's day.

You'll ideally have previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader, be confident administering medication and leading shifts, and hold (or be willing to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
