Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is essential for this role.
• Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of residents' individual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing and supporting the care team to ensure high quality of care and service for all residents.
• Ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and the cycle of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation is followed.
• Engaging with residents with dignity and respect, communicating at their level and pace.
• Administering and recording prescribed medication with accurate monitoring of doses.
• Preserving residents' dignity and independence and promoting the best possible quality of life.
• Encouraging residents to participate in daily living discussions and activities.
• Assisting residents with personal care as needed.
