Job summary

HRString in Milton Keynes, UK is seeking caring and reliable care support workers to join our domiciliary care team. You will work under supervision of registered nurses and physiotherapists to support service users at home.

Previous care experience welcomed; training provided. You must be resident in the UK with valid right to work. Full-time positions with flexible shifts and opportunities to develop in a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Health-care related tasks under supervision by nurses and physiotherapists.
• Assist with personal care and meals preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity of service users.
• Training provided for those without previous care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform health-care related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses and physiotherapists.
• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Advise, support and/or attend in the appropriate personal care of Service Users
• Advise, support and or undertake the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals
• Support or undertake household duties such as washing & ironing etc.
• Maintain Service Users confidentiality, respect, privacy and dignity always
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
