Lifeways in Taunton is seeking a Care Support Worker to help individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs live independently. You’ll support daily activities, accompany trips to cinema, bowling, and shopping, and provide a friendly, steady presence.

No previous care experience is required as full training is provided; a full UK driving licence is essential to drive company cars, and a positive, compassionate attitude is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs to live independently.

• Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking, budgeting, and medications.
• Provide a friendly, steady presence and encourage confidence and independence every day.

Shifts & Hours

• 14-hour shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
