Job summary

Lifeways Group is seeking a Care Support Worker in the United Kingdom. The role requires a full UK driving licence and a compassionate, proactive mindset to help individuals live independently and participate in daily activities.

Support Worker (Driver Essential) | £13.10 per hour + £50 sleep ins

Shift Pattern

Sleep in shift – 9am-10pm (sleep in from 10pm) – 7am-9am

Monday to Thursday - 7.30am-10am - 3.45pm-9pm

Friday to Sunday - 7.30am-9.30pm

Alternative shifts

07.00-21.00

Waking nights 21.00-07.00

As a Lifeways Support Worker, you'll do far more than provide care.

You'll help people build confidence, maintain their independence, stay connected to the people who matter to them and live the life they choose.

A full driving licence is essential for this role, but not because you'll spend your day driving from appointment to appointment. Driving gives the people we support opportunities.

It means helping someone visit family, get to college, attend a job interview, enjoy a day out, pursue a hobby, go shopping independently or simply spend time in their local community.

Sometimes the smallest things can have the biggest impact. Whether that's somebody ordering a coffee independently for the first time, catching up with friends, or building the confidence to try something new, you'll play a part in making those moments happen.

What will you be doing?

No two days are the same, but your role may include:
