Job summary

Cygnet Group is recruiting a confident Care & Support Worker for Longfield House in Clayton, Bradford. You will deliver person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, on a 42-hour weekly rota of 12-hour day shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe environment
• Support access to the community, work, education, hobbies and activities
• Involve service users in cooking, cleaning and daily tasks to foster independence
