Job summary

Delight Care & Support Services Ltd is seeking a Female Care Support Worker with a full UK driving licence and own car to visit clients at home across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living, and help clients stay independent in their own homes. Flexible shifts and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only due to personal care needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

• Willing to complete Enhanced DBS check.
• Previous care experience welcome but not essential - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Prompt or administer medication in line with training.
• Prepare meals and drinks to support nutrition.
• Support safe mobility and moving and handling.
• Carry out light domestic tasks per care plan.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Complete accurate care records on our digital care system.
• Follow individual care plans and company policies.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential).

The Role

We are looking for caring and reliable female Care Support Workers who hold a full UK driving licence and have their own car. You will visit clients in their own homes, supporting them with daily living and helping them stay independent and comfortable.

This role is open to female applicants only due to the personal care needs of our clients, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting, with dignity and respect
• Prompt or administer medication in line with training and MAR charts
• Prepare meals and drinks and support good nutrition and hydration
• Support safe mobility and moving and handling
• Carry out light domestic tasks where set out in the care plan
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Complete accurate care records on our digital care system
• Follow individual care plans and company policies at all times
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)
• Female applicants only
• Right to work in the UK
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
• Good communication skills and a genuinely caring nature
