Cygnet is hiring a confident Care & Support Worker at Hawkstone in Bradford to provide person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You’ll work full-time, 42 hours per week, on 12-hour shifts with alternate weekends, helping people stay active and safe in a home-like residential setting.

The role focuses on empathetic, practical care, promoting independence, community access, and well-being.

Responsabilités

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays.
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning.
