Job summary

Lifeways in Leamington Spa is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This full-time role (35 hours per week) involves rota-based shifts across weekdays and weekends, with driving duties on a full UK manual licence. You will support individuals with autism and complex learning disabilities in their home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or willingness to start
• Full UK manual driving licence (required)
• Willing to work rota including weekends and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and wellbeing
• Provide medication support per care plan
• Plan and prepare meals and monitor nutrition
• Perform light household tasks and maintain a clean environment
• Support hobbies, activities, and social events to encourage independence
• Monitor wellbeing and respond to individual needs
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the care team

Your Responsibilities as a Support Worker

You’ll support with:

• Personal care and wellbeing
• Medication support
• Meal planning and preparation
• Household tasks
• Hobbies, activities, and social events
• Building confidence and independence
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs
• Maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with your team

Please note: You will be working on a rota basis, and shift patterns are assigned—you will not be able to select your own shifts. Due to the location of the service, a full UK manual driving licence is required.
