Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Care Supervisor at Immacolata House Dementia Nursing Home in Langport. The role leads a care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs, guiding shifts and ensuring a calm, professional environment.

You will support with shift coordination, resident wellbeing, and accurate care documentation while promoting best practice and a positive workplace culture. You will work alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this
• Previous experience within a senior care or leadership role
• Confidence supporting and guiding a care team
• Good understanding of person centred care and safeguarding
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Medication training and administration experience is beneficial
• A calm, reliable and compassionate approach

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the wider care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Coordinate shifts and oversee day-to-day care delivery
• Monitor resident wellbeing and maintain accurate care documentation and care plans
• Promote best practice and foster a positive, supportive workplace culture
• Collaborate with residents, families and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, responsive care
