Job summary

Bluebird Care Southend & Rochford is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to join our growing team. As part of one of the UK's largest home care providers, you will lead care teams, ensure safe, compassionate care, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You'll supervise Care Assistants, undertake care assessments and reviews, support induction and training, and help drive quality improvements across the service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and social care.
• Experience as Care Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support Care Assistants to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Carry out care assessments, customer reviews and spot checks.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of care quality and compliance.
• Support induction, training and ongoing development of care staff.
• Assist with care planning and risk assessments.
• Respond professionally to customer queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with Registered Manager and office team to ensure smooth operations.
• Promote values and maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
