Job summary

Willowbrook Lytham is recruiting a Care Supervisor to lead and support our care team. You will receive a thorough induction and training, with mentorship from the Registered Manager and opportunities for formal qualifications and progression. An attractive on‑call enhancement is available on top of a competitive hourly rate.

The role requires a caring, dedicated and flexible attitude, with the ability to inspire and cultivate the team to deliver safe, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings and ability to document care.
• Ability to mentor and support the care team.
• Strong communication and empathy with service users and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support including medication, meals, repositioning and domestic tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reviews of care plans.
• Liaise with the Registered Manager regarding personalised care plans and risk assessments.
• Assist the coordinator to ensure rostering supports time with individuals and travel time.
• Conduct in-field support visits and competency checks.
• Communicate changes to service users, carers and staff promptly and record all updates.

Job description

• Provide personal care to the people we support and care for.
• Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning and domestic support.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Complete reviews of the person's needs and ensure the care plan is updated.
• Liaise with the Registered Manager and the Care Plan lead regarding personalised care plans and risk assessments to ensure care is provided safely and in line with their needs.
• To assist the coordinator to ensure that rostering is carried out efficiently enabling the Cares to spend the allocated time with each individual and allow sufficient time for travel.
• Complete support visits, and competencies and provide in-the-field support.
• Ensure any changes to the person we support, or Carer's needs and availability are communicated to all relevant parties quickly and effectively.
• Ensure all changes are recorded as per Company procedure.
• Fully comply with Company policies, procedures and approved practices, and promote the aims of the Company.
