Job summary

CareTech is seeking a full-time Painter to join the Oakleaf Group team in Northampton. The role requires delivering high-quality painting services across our multi-disciplinary site, with a focus on attention to detail and timely project completion.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial painting experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to train on site equipment. A valid UK driving licence is required, and benefits include holiday entitlement and employee support

Qualifications

• Previous commercial painting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and filling holes and cracks.
• Apply paint and finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
• Outdoor paints, stains, and other finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.
• Maintain tools and clean work areas after completing projects.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
