Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a flexible and versatile CQC Registered Manager for Westacres, a 4-bed residential service for autism and complex needs. You will lead the care team, ensure safe, person-centred care, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will monitor delivery, manage budgets and staffing, oversee medication, safeguarding, audits, and on-call cover to ensure safe, high-quality services.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma or equivalent, or eligible to complete Level 5 Diploma.
• Experience in social care management and CQC framework.
• Knowledge of Health & Social Services regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing care team.
• Ensure safe, person-centred, outcome-focused care and dignity.
• Maintain CQC compliance and health & safety legislation.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and implement improvements.
• Oversee budget, staffing, and on-call rota.
• Recruit, induct, supervise, and develop staff.
• Build relationships with commissioners and authorities.
• Conduct audits and drive service improvement.
