Home Instead Leigh is seeking Care Assistants to provide compassionate, person-centered care with flexible or full-time hours. You will perform minimum 1-hour visits, support clients with daily tasks and companionship, and help them stay comfortable and safe in their own homes.

Training is provided and ongoing support is available to help you progress your career. We require a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

• Excellent pay rates - from £12.50-£13.00 and DOUBLE RATE at bank holidays.

Care Assistant responsibilities

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care. Your role is to help your client feel as comfortable as possible, support them with anything from shopping and cooking meals, to personal hygiene assistance and companionship. It’s really important to be able to build up trust with the client you’re visiting so that they feel comfortable opening up and discussing any issues or needs with you. We treat our clients and Care Professionals with dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion at all times.

Qualifications

Valid UK Driving License and Access to Own Vehicle, Full Training will be Provided. Whether you have experience in care or are just starting out, you will find unparalleled support, training and guidance to help you establish and progress a career in care.
