Job summary

A local care support provider in Leek is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to provide care to clients in their homes during evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a caring personality, reliability, and the ability to perform household tasks while offering companionship. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. This role offers a pay rate of £14 per hour with additional incentives such as mileage reimbursement and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training.
• Must have a full driver's licence and dependable transportation.
• Reliable and punctual to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry.
• Make or assist to make client's favorite meals.
• Offer companionship and social support.
• Support with personal care tasks such as showering.
• Write accurate daily notes and communicate with the office.
• Administer medication and record appropriately.

AtHome Instead Leek & Moorlandswe offer support to individuals living in their own home. We are hiring for caring individuals inLeekto visit local clients duringevenings (4pm - 10pm) and weekends. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and caring to make a difference to our clients' lives.No experience required- just a friendly personality and the right values.

At Home Instead we haveminimum 1-hour callsplus suitable travel time to ensure you are not rushed with clients, withmileage reimbursement. We work tomatchour Care Professionals and clients together somemorable connectionscan be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can reallyget to knowyour client and their needs.

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Care Assistant:

• Perform household tasks such aslight cleaning, laundry and tidying.
• Make, or assist to make your client's favouritemeals.
• Offer companionship and social support, engaging with your client'shobbiesand getting to know them.
• Support withpersonal caretasks such as showering, brushing teeth, and getting ready for bed.
• Ensure transparentcommunicationwith clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care andcomfort.
• Writeaccurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
• Administermedicationand record appropriately.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must have a fulldriver's licenceanddependable transportationfor various duties.
• You must bereliable and punctualto ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must have acaring, friendly personality.
