Job summary

North Beverley Medical Centre in Beverley is seeking two friendly Care Navigator Apprentices to join the reception and administration team. You will help patients access the right services and support day-to-day operations, learning from an experienced team committed to your development.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling calls, booking appointments, updating records, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Job description

Care Navigator Apprentice x2 North Beverley Medical Centre is looking for two friendly and enthusiastic Care Navigator Apprentices to join their welcoming reception and administration team. As a Care Navigator Apprentice, you'll play an important role in helping patients access the right services and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You'll be supported by an experienced team who are committed to helping you develop your skills and build a rewarding career. Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service.
  • Answering calls and helping patients access the right healthcare services.
  • Booking appointments and managing patient enquiries.
  • Updating patient records and maintaining confidential information.
  • Processing prescriptions, correspondence, and incoming mail.
  • Supporting the reception and administration team with a variety of daily tasks.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Friendly, approachable, and enjoys helping people.
  • A confident communicator with a professional phone manner.
  • Able to work well as part of a team.
  • Organised with good attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Confident using IT, including Microsoft Word and email.
  • Flexible to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with occasional cover for annual leave and sickness.
  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
