Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Manager at CWLIZ Care Ltd located in Bristol. The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, coordinating care plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of compassionate care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the management of CWLizCare’s regulated care services.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and ensure all services meet “Good” or “Outstanding” standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care coordinators and support staff.
• Maintain effective communication with commissioners, social workers, client families, and external professionals.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate, up to date, and person-centred.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incidents in a timely and compliant manner.
• Conduct regular audits, spot checks, and quality assurance reviews.
• Drive business growth through new referrals and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and NHS bodies.
• Stay updated on legislation, industry trends, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be a CQC Registered Manager (or eligible and willing to apply for registration immediately).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within health or social care.
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young people's Services (England) OR Equivalent qualification
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of supported living, domiciliary, and complex care service delivery.
• Experience liaising with CQC, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, MCA, DOLS, and GDPR compliance.
• Must be flexible, proactive, and passionate about high-quality care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
