We’re looking for a dynamic Registered Care Manager to lead and grow our high-quality domiciliary care service in Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led team making a real difference in people’s lives.

About the Role:

As our Registered Care Manager, you will report directly to the Operational Leadership Team and take responsibility for the overall performance, quality, and compliance of our care service. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, manage internal staff and Care Professionals, ensure outstanding care delivery, and play a key role in business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with CQC and legislative standards.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care service.
  • Manage client acquisition and care planning, including assessments and risk management.
  • Ensure quality assurance through regular reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives.
  • Handle incidents, complaints, and safeguarding processes effectively and sensitively.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and supervision; ensure safe and effective staffing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
  • Support financial operations including budget oversight and payroll.
  • Promote our services in the local community and build professional networks.
  • Lead by example, cultivating a supportive and inclusive team culture.
  • Significant experience in care, with a strong track record in quality service delivery.
  • Proven leadership skills within a domiciliary care setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Strong knowledge of care regulations, compliance, and best practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Commercially aware with experience in achieving growth targets.
  • IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office/Google Suite and digital care systems.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
