Job summary

Futures Care Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Care Manager to lead a small team of Support Workers and provide line management support. You will implement a person-centred approach through thorough care planning and promote independence while respecting equality and diversity.

Applicants must have 3 years of experience with adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, physical disabilities or mental health, and hold a Full UK Driving Licence. Role is in-person and fixed schedule.

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and caring individual who likes a challenge to join our team of experienced Care Managers to lead a small team of Support Workers providing them with line management support and supervision.

To implement and contribute to a Person-Centred Approach through thorough care planning.

To Safely support and promote the independence and choice of individuals within their own homes whilst respecting and encouraging a culture of equality and diversity.

To ensure the People we Support are actively involved within their community whilst keeping them safe from abuse or harm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay scale: £29,000.00 - £31,000.00 per annum

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (required)

Experience:

• 3 years Previous experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities/Challenging Behaviour/Physical Disabilities/Mental Health (required)
• Experience of managing multiple supported living services (highly desirable)
• Supervision and Team Management (preferred)
