Job summary

Rotherwood is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Coordinator to join its team, focusing on developing care professionals across residential and nursing services. You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, support inductions, and ensure staff have the skills and confidence to provide outstanding, person-centred care.

The role covers the North West with occasional travel to other regions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering health and social care training across a range of subjects.
• Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards, Skills for Care requirements and current care legislation.
• Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the North West.
• NUCO and RoSPA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mandatory and specialist health and social care training.
• Deliver engaging sessions across multiple services and assess learner competency to standards.
• Support induction programmes and development of care teams.
• Maintain training records and improve e-learning materials.
