Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Shire Oaks Court in Walsall Wood is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead the catering team and deliver nutritious, delicious meals for residents.

You’ll manage day-to-day kitchen operations, develop menus, monitor food hygiene, control stock and budget, and support staff with induction and training. A Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification is preferred, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experienced in cooking nutritious meals.
• Ability to develop varied menus.
• Strong team leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing a catering budget.
• Willingness to undergo induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals.
• Develop suitable menus by understanding residents' needs and choices.
• Ensure food hygiene standards are met.
• Complete checks and maintain records.
• Manage stock and purchasing within budget.
