Job summary

Cygnet St Williams is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant / Housekeeper who is passionate about food and making a difference. You will work flexible bank shifts at Cygnet St Williams, providing care and support to people in our Neuropsychiatric service.

You’ll help prepare meals, keep kitchen areas clean and ensure hygiene standards are met. The role requires an enthusiastic team member with food hygiene certification and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, preferably within a care setting.
• Holder of a food hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of balanced meals.
• Perform cooking tasks and kitchen duties.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, service areas and dining room.
• Wash utensils and store properly.
• Rotate stock and receive deliveries.
• Maintain hygiene to COSHH standards.
