Job summary

Cygnet Fountains is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant who loves food and wants to make a difference in the care setting. You will work flexible bank shifts to create positive experiences for those in our care.

Ideal candidates are passionate about catering, with care-setting experience preferred, and possess strong communication skills to work with the team and residents. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Passion for catering
• Experience in care setting preferred
• Excellent communication with team and people
• Ability to work independently and under supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing balanced, appetising meals
• Perform basic food preparation and kitchen duties
• Wash utensils and store correctly
• Check deliveries and assist with stock ordering
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Handle and store kitchen equipment per procedures
• Follow COSHH regulations
