Job summary

The Ashton Care Home in Hinckley is seeking a Cook to join our team on a full-time, dayshift contract. You will prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, respecting dietary needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver nutritious meals in line with dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure high standards of food presentation, hygiene and safety.
• Support menu planning and utilise fresh ingredients.
