Job summary

Oakley Grange is part of Cinnamon Care Collection in Warwick. This Team Leader role is 48 hours per week with alternate weekend work, primarily day shifts and potential night coverage. You will supervise care teams, ensure person-centred care, support families, and drive training and recruitment activities.

This hands-on leadership role offers progression toward Deputy Manager with a focus on maintaining high standards of care and team performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in care is essential.
• NVQ4 in Care and Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management is desirable.
• Two years' experience in long-term care or similar industry.
• Experience in planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care delivery.
• Experience of working with older people.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the resident assessment process with resident involvement for care planning.
• Ensure information is written and communicated for a person-centred approach.
• Work hands-on with the team to ensure appropriate levels of care.
• Deliver and manage medication administration with robust auditing and training.
• Recruit care team and manage contracted hours and ongoing recruitment needs.
• Communicate with families regarding resident needs and progress.
• Manage team absence and conduct return-to-work sessions with support.
• Oversee handovers between shifts and keep management informed.
• Provide daily coaching and support to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
