Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef for Landers Court, a care home currently under construction and due to open in January 2027. You will join the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals to high standards, accommodating dietary requirements and ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment.

Hours are 08:00–18:00 on a rolling three-on/three-off rota, averaging 35 hours per week. Rate of pay is £17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing meals for care home residents.
• Food hygiene qualification preferred.
• Ability to deliver nutritious meals to residents with dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food and meals to high standard.
• Assist with preparation of nutritious meals around dietary requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment and be part of the care home team.
