Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Registered Care Home Manager for Wheldale Heights, Castleford. You will steer the home with autonomy, lead a dedicated team and drive person-centred care in a modern, purpose-built setting.

You will apply strong nursing leadership, governance knowledge and strategic oversight to deliver outstanding care, supported by our digital systems and leadership development programmes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Minimum of three years management experience in a complex care setting.
• Leadership role with ability to drive improvement and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the service.
• Provide strong team leadership and management of staff development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Manage referrals and occupancy to sustain service viability.
• Collect and interpret data for informed decision making.
• Oversee financial management and budget adherence.
• Maintain customer relationships and contribute to marketing for sustainability.
