Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience in general maintenance or handy person role
• Full driving licence
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH
• Flexible and adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery and building tasks inside and outside the Home
• Support new residents to arrange their room as they wish
• Ensure routine decoration is undertaken to maintain standards in the home
• Provide out of hours emergency service and participate in on-call rota
