Job summary

Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Maintenance Person for Dunlarg Care Home in Keady, County Armagh. The role supports resident safety and comfort by performing repairs, coordinating with local contractors, and assisting with on-site facilities management.

The role requires at least 1 year in maintenance or similar work, a valid UK driving license, and basic numeracy and literacy. It offers progression opportunities, paid leave, and a pension plan where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance or similar role experience.
• Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirements.
• Keyboard and PC skills with basic proficiency for standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a well decorated, safe, and comfortable environment in and outside of the Home.
• Ensures minimum standards are delivered in all units.
• Identifies and reports damage, faults, and issues to line manager.
• Liaises with local contractors on site to keep maintenance schedules on time.
• Deliver bloods, collect scripts and drive to suppliers when needed.
• Undertake other duties designated by the Home Manager.
