Job summary

Meallmore is seeking aMaintenance Person for our care home in Scotland. The role involves general maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing and carpentry, with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will manage own time, communicate well with the team, and help keep the environment safe and welcoming for residents. The position offers 37.5 hours per week at £13.34 per hour plus competitive benefits and overtime rates, with progression possibilities within our care-home network.

Responsibilities

• Swiftly and efficiently handle general maintenance work and record-keeping within the care home.
• Ensure all Compliance and Mandatory checks are completed and recorded within the designated timeframe.
• Prioritise a safe environment for residents and colleagues.
• Maintain equipment used by staff and residents to the highest standard, ready for use.
• Keep garden areas, driveways and paths tidy and welcoming at all times.
• Follow all purchasing routines as outlined by Meallmore Ltd.
