Job summary

Aria Care in Taunton is recruiting a Site Maintenance Officer for our 41-bed residential & nursing home. The role is 40 hours weekly, 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional on‑call responsibilities, at £13.80 per hour.

You will manage health and safety, undertake remedial work, and coordinate with external contractors for non-routine repairs across the site. A caring, self-motivated professional is needed with good practical maintenance experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in residential care or similar setting.
• Good communication skills with residents, families and staff.
• Flexible approach to duties and on-call requirements.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general maintenance tasks across the home.
• Liaise with external contractors for works beyond routine repairs.
