Hill Care Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Person to perform day-to-day maintenance across the building, services, and grounds of a care home. The role supports a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
The ideal candidate will have DIY skills, decorating ability, driving experience, and a proactive, flexible attitude to meet the service goals and comply with safeguarding requirements.

JOB PURPOSE
To carry out day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds in order to ensure that the Care Home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order.
Required:
* Proven ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team
* A commitment to a service, which provides support to vulnerable individuals, and which is respectful and according to the individual’s wishes
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, colleagues, Managers and other persons with a legitimate interest in the service
* Decorating skills
* Basic DIY skills
* Experience of driving
* Proven ability to complete day to day repairs and maintenance to a safe & high standard
* Satisfactory Police Check and check against the DBS List (where applicable)
* Self-motivation and flexibility
* Commitment to the aims & objectives of the service and of Hill Care Ltd
