Renaissance Care (Scotland) is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant for the Benvie care home. The role involves managing the laundry cycle with care and attention to detail to ensure residents feel comfortable and respected each day.

You will handle collecting, washing, sorting, and pressing linens and clothing, returning items in good condition. COSHH and HACCP knowledge, plus a team-minded approach, are desirable for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to follow COSHH and HACCP requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork within a care home.

Responsibilities

• Manage the laundry process: collecting, washing, sorting, and pressing linens and clothing.
• Ensure laundry machines are used correctly and regularly maintained; report faults.
• Return items promptly to residents' rooms with care and dignity.
• Uphold residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times.
