Job summary

Renaissance Care Limited is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our Letham Park team for 12 hours per week (3x4 hours), 5pm-9pm. You will manage linen and clothing laundry, ensuring items are returned in great condition while upholding residents’ comfort and dignity.

The role requires attention to detail, COSHH/HACCP awareness, and teamwork. A caring, friendly approach and respect for privacy are essential, with benefits supporting staff wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
• Ability to work as part of a care home team and respect residents’ dignity.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, sort and press linens and clothing.
• Maintain laundry machines and report faults to maintenance.
• Ensure safety by following COSHH and company policies.
• Support residents with dignity and privacy in daily care routines.
