Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking a Laundry Assistant at Isis House in Oxford. You will operate and maintain the laundry service for residents, ensuring fabrics are handled safely and efficiently.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role is 7 hours per week with a shift from 8am to 2pm, contributing to a clean, comfortable home environment for residents.

Qualifications

• No prior formal laundry experience required; training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do approach when engaging with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a laundry service for residents.
• Operate commercial washing, drying and finishing machinery.
• Keep the laundry area safe, clean and tidy at all times and ensure timely processing of laundry.
• Engage with residents to understand their needs and provide quality service.
