Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust seeks a Head Housekeeper for Spencer Court, Woodstock. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring every room is clean, safe and welcoming for residents and families.

You will manage rotas, promote hygiene and infection control, and support staff development. Experience in care home environments is preferred and a QCF Level 3 in Hospitality may be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with contract cleaning in industrial, business or family settings.
• Experience in elderly care settings with residents in mind.
• Possession or progress toward QCF Level 3 in Hospitality Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of housekeepers and laundry staff to deliver high standards.
• Maintain highest cleanliness and hygiene in all rooms and spaces.
• Organise rotas, delegate tasks and train new starters where needed.
