Join Bupa as a Kitchen Assistant at Maypole Care Home, Hedge End. You will support the kitchen team, plate meals, prepare trolleys and keep areas clean while ensuring residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

The role requires a passion for food, kitchen experience, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate; you will liaise with care home teams to deliver high dining standards and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Passion for food with experience in a kitchen.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Ability to maintain high standards and communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep prep areas clean.
• Monitor stock rotation and follow COSHH/HACCP policies.
• Assist with catering for events (summer BBQs, Christmas parties).
