Job summary

Limewood Care Home in Stafford is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in a specialist complex care setting. You will help with food preparation, maintain high cleanliness standards and ensure food safety at all times, while assisting with deliveries and kitchen organisation.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and help meet individual dietary needs. A willingness to learn and develop within care is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and positive approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a care environment.
