Avalon Park Care Home in Oldham is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, safe spaces and support laundry services for residents. You will help ensure a welcoming environment that respects privacy and dignity, with duties across rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.

The role includes following infection control procedures, working as part of a team, and contributing to a well-organised, comfortable home for residents and colleagues. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualificações

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments in residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing, ensuring correct labelling.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high hygiene standards and comfortable surroundings.
