Alexander House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Exeter. You will maintain cleanliness, support laundry duties and follow infection control procedures to ensure a safe, dignified living environment for residents.

The role involves cleaning rooms and communal areas, handling laundry tasks and adhering to health and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will work alternate weekends and contribute to high standards across the home.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and reliability essential.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication with residents and staff.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing and labelling.
