Job summary

Alexander House Care Home in Exeter is looking for a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, ensuring comfort, respect and wellbeing. You will follow care plans and contribute to safe, responsive care in a warm, team-focused environment.

The role welcomes experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development. The position requires alternating weekend work and offers a competitive rate of £13 per hour,

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive and dignified care.
• Work as part of a supportive team; be available for alternating weekends.
