Job summary

Care South are recruiting a Housekeeper for Castle Dene, a dementia and residential care home in Bournemouth. You will help keep the home clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key duties include cleaning communal areas and residents' rooms, assisting with laundry, and following COSHH and safety policies. The role offers 30 hours per week with alternate weekend work, flexible hours 8:00 am–6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years or older.
• We are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
• Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents own rooms
• Provide some support to the laundry team to include washing, drying and ironing of residents clothing
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations, withregard to cleaning products and use of chemicals.
• Work as a team player to create and maintain a co-operative, friendly andwelcoming atmosphere within the home.
