Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain the highest cleanliness and comfort across the home. You’ll help create a welcoming, safe environment for residents and visitors, contributing to a sense of home each day.

This role involves a fixed 8:00am–5:00pm pattern with a rolling rota of three shifts on followed by three off, averaging around 31.5 hours weekly, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home.
• Good communication and a caring approach when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards according to schedules.
• Keep bedrooms and communal areas welcoming and hygienic for residents and visitors.
• Respect residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and infection control policies.
• Report faults and shortages; support with supplies and equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and training.
• Support a friendly, caring environment where residents feel valued.
