BCG is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead a small team in a care home setting, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for residents. The role emphasizes attention to detail and strong leadership to drive team performance and ensure a warm, inviting environment.

Experience in social care or hospital housekeeping is advantageous, with a focus on team leadership, communication, and a caring, friendly approach. PVG clearance and UK work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within a social care or hospital environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a caring nature and good communication skills.
• PVG check and authorisation to work in the UK will be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the purchase, consumption, and handling of cleaning chemicals and products in line with budgets and health and safety requirements.
• Complete documentation and administration to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Ensure the latest infection control procedures are followed as required.
• Ensure the laundry service runs smoothly and efficiently.
