Job summary

Stow Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep homes safe, comfortable, and well maintained. You will report to the Home Manager and Group Maintenance Manager, handle day-to-day maintenance, ensure compliance, support other homes when needed, and participate in an on-call rota to respond to emergencies.

The role emphasizes painting and decorating skills, record-keeping, training, and strong communication with staff, contractors, and suppliers, while maintaining a cost-conscious

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining safe and compliant environments.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with documentation.
• Willingness to complete training and support fire safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Experience in painting and decorating (additional trade skills are a plus).
